Inspirada is the 2,000-acre master plan in the far southwest corner of Henderson, on land bought at a Bureau of Land Management auction, where KB Home built the first house in 2007 just as the boom ended. The project went through an involuntary bankruptcy in 2011 and came back, and by 2018 it had about 3,000 homes of a planned 8,500, arranged in seven villages each around its own park.
The houses are the newest in Henderson: two-story stucco on slabs with concrete tile, attic air handlers, tankless or garage water heaters, and tight, well-insulated envelopes. Tight houses dry slowly. A washer hose or a dishwasher line that fails in a 2016 Inspirada house wets a cabinet floor and a wall that does not breathe, and the growth shows up as a smell before it shows up as a stain.
Homeowners in Inspirada reach an independent local mold provider through this site's phone line. That provider meters the house and tells you what it needs. We only set up the call.
A dark patch under the kitchen sink is black mold removal, with the cabinet floor and the drywall behind it cut to the meter line. A smell in the hall with nothing showing is mold odor removal. Wet insulation under a sweating attic duct is attic mold remediation.
Inspirada's own site lists the villages and the parks, and the community's back fence is the 48,000-acre Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, whose washes carry monsoon runoff from the McCullough Range down past the neighborhood's detention basins.
Call (702) 602-8512 and tell us what you see. We put you through to a local mold provider serving Inspirada.
Growth on drywall behind a water heater, a fridge line, or a slab leak: room sealed, wet board cut to the meter line, framing HEPA-cleaned and dried.
A dark patch handled by how far the water traveled, not its color: containment, porous material out, hard surfaces cleaned, leak fixed before closing.
A slab leak or a supply line that ran for weeks while the house sat empty, mapped room by room and cleared in zones as one project.
Coil, drain pan, and condensate line cleaned or replaced when the air handler in the garage or attic sweats through a 110-degree summer.
Growth behind a vanity, under a shower pan, or on a ceiling with no fan, removed with the supply line or drain leak fixed first.
Growth on roof sheathing under slipped tile or around a sweating duct, cleaned and treated once the underlayment or the insulation is fixed.
A musty smell in a house that looks fine, traced to the wet material under the laminate or behind the cabinet, then removed and treated.
Drywall, texture, baseboard, and cabinet bottoms put back after removal, once the slab reads dry and the leak that started it is repaired.
